[more brainrot pining moments]. if i had to write the above scene, i think i'd do something along the lines of: you're first aid relief at the sports festival, not actively participating. dunno if you'd be nearly as badass, though. you definitely get pissed when they muzzle katsuki and probably get rly mad but ofc u cant show it. so u just unmuzzle him and walk away and hes staring after u. this is ur ??? elsa arc? i dont remember the disney princess. the training camp is torture. aizawa makes u run with them. you tell him straight up that u hate his guts. he grins like that is the best thing anyone has told him in his life. katsuki definitely blows up some earth monsters for u. but while ur not looking. he's angsty like that. the bath scene? oh lord u just know he blows mineta up. maybe he lowk fucks it up too and you have to heal it! the potential HAHAHA. i dont know how you end up getting kidnapped, but id probably just bullshit a reason like ur the #1 healer in the world hurr durr and afo wants u! idgaf if the plot makes sense or not this is entirely secondary to my scheming. katsuki just about loses it when he hears you're one of the targets -> how you get kidnapped? idk. you're not a remedial student, so you're probably participating in the game (odd number of ppl right). unsure of how i'd handle the news of your kidnapping: just know katsuki loses it again. for like the 5th time. yipppeeeeee

your quirk is literally just you take people's injuries into your own body and heal it yourself. you're superhuman. i put 2 thoughts into this: 1) you're a healer and 2) i like cool characters. congratulations. you have now been born. i don't even remember if i kept the shouto scene. but anyways i think my bias was showing. just had to throw him in there. also the kuroo mention. sorry i'm totally normal and i mean it ⇁ btw i love you all (everyone who likes/interacts with my fics) but i joke to my friends everytime someone interacts w my first bakugo/midoriya ones from lacuna bc guys!!! my shoto fic is RIGHT THERE!!! the baby that launched the entire collection. please show him some love this reader is probably one of the favorite ones i have written, more of an oc at this point i think, and i wasn't expecting her to grow on me so much. but lowk i love her and am so proud of the way i wrote her growth!! i do feel like i wrote her very soft, but i hope her flaws were made very clear⏤ she is meant to be a sort of unreliable narrator, so she also is overly critical of her own, but there were several things that were not addressed as i was writing, particularly concerning midoriya. BACKGROUND

lee jangmi, born 3003 to a middle class family, being her parent's little girl who got spoiled beyond belief. the amount of stress her parents went through to have her made them treasure her greatly, always making sure she was always happy.

family life was good! family life was happy! until both her parents lost their jobs due to sizing down, leaving the family with a complete lack of income. her father found a job rather quickly but it paid significantly less than what they originally had and they were still relying on one income so things were a bit tight. jangmi was blissfully unaware of this fact at the bright young age of one, her parents always putting on their happiest faces to their daughter and still going out of their way to give her a wonderful childhood. with the help of her maternal grandmother, jangmi was raised in the most loving household a girl could ask for.

however, this lack of money was catching up as her mother fell behind in terms of systems, her father needing added packages and upgrades to work but not being able to afford any for his wife. this meant that her family had fallen to a socioeconomic status that terrascape paid less care to. one day jangmi's mother dropped her off at her grandmother's so that she could spend the day trying to find a job, as she had been doing for around three years at this point. that night, her mother never picked her up and her father called up, wondering if she was with jangmi.

she was not.

after a week or so, jangmi's father had accepted that his wife was gone. unable to deal with life without the woman he loved and a daughter that was constantly distressed with the lack of her mother, he gave jangmi to her grandmother and disconnected from terra to search for his wife, knowing she might've left him but she would've never left jangmi.

so from the age of four, jangmi was raised by her grandparents and their elderly neighbours and they raised her just as she was used to, loving and a little bit spoiled. being raised in such a good for environment, the girl is quite unaware of the bad side of the world; she thinks that terra truly is paradise where everyone is always happy and thriving, simply because that's how she and the people she's aurrounded herself with have done in life.

well, she tries to think that way at least. having her parents leave with the only explaination of 'they went on an adventure!' even at the age of 20 has her craving to know more, has her wanting to figure out what happened with her parents. once she hit her teens and started actively staying awake at night, she discovered a glitch in which the entire server just frozen in time? she's never actively done anything during this hour as the idea of fucking up something scares her greatly but, she's always blamed that glitch on the reason why her parents are gone.

for now she prefers living in ignorant bliss, treating terra the way that terrascape wants her to, as a modern day garden of eden which, it kind of is considring how lucky she's been in life. maybe her ignorance is just to avoid losing her lifestyle of living upper middle class, knowing the place is a lot darker than she puts on. even after bae gyuok, she chooses to ignore this massive event, acting as if nothing has happened in the first place. (although, in her own time she's trying to figure things out but, she isn't getting very far)

PERSONALITY

she's soft spoken and gentle, often just going along with the crowd and trying her best to fit in as she would rather die than ever be seen as different. she puts herself out as confident yet not cocky, extroverted but not loud; a perfect personality that will have people love her, just as she's always been loved by those around her. though her gentle nature and willingness to go along with people is natural, she's hardly the social creature she seems to be, preferring a night in with her grandparents and their dog watching old movies. she lacks her own perception of self as a consequence for trying so hard to fit in and she sometimes gets jealous of others who are more willing to be themselves, arguing with people who disagree with her out of sadness, not anger. she can let herself get carried away when spurred on and can be quite reactive at times, a reason why she surrounds herself with people so similar to her; she can keep her image.

Okay I’ll go one at a time & sorry if they’re a bit long lol

1. Disco pulled up to the wrong address when going dancing, and didn’t know it until it was too late. He was going through his run down building expecting to find a race happening in one of the rooms, but this place was actually an abandoned WVBA building. They had a big dip in popularity in between the mid 90’s and the late 2000’s, and they had to get rid of a few of their properties. This place just so happened to be the building that Kid Quick died in. So obviously having his resting place disturbed ‘woke him up’, and he checked out the guy wandering around the building. He looked fit, and kinda reminded him of himself, so he just kinda… walked into his body. Quietly.

Disco felt a weird shiver, and definitely felt off when it happened, but nothing was obviously out of the ordinary so he brushed it off. He eventually found the right address and partied the rest of the night away.

Quick rode shotgun in Disco’s body for at least a few weeks without saying anything. He did feel kinda bad, and was definitely going to say something eventually (he was not.) so when Disco saw a translucent guy sitting on his couch trying to turn on his TV he almost passed out.

Quick freaked out and tried to wake him up, but only ended up possessing his body, which freaked both of them out further. (Okay well maybe Quick was excited to have a body again but Disco was NOT a happy camper.)

It was a miracle that Quick convinced Disco not to call an exorcist. But they sat down and had conversation about their lives, like old friends. When Quick told his story about dying in the ring, Disco offered to help him out. He seemed like a chill guy and as long he didn’t run away with Disco’s body he was okay with sharing.

The rest was history! (Again I am working on that oneshot where they’re the protags so I hope I can finish that soon 😋)

2. OKAYY so Tiger is all about playing dumb. He’ll intentionally act clueless about situations he already knows all about to see if he can get new info, or will see how the person he’s talking to feels about what’s going on.

Example if Aran and Macho Man were beefing, he’d *conveniently* pass by and go to both of them separately later, without telling them that they’d talked to the other person. He can get a read on their vibe yk?

He also uses his magic to hide himself when important conversations are being had, or will send a clone to gather info if he’s busy. He’s running a whole operation. He has to know about everything that’s happening, because how can he tease people with knowledge he shouldn’t know if he doesn’t know anything at all?

I do think some of the other boxers have just kinda accepted that nothing is a secret from him.

But I think the big mystery he’s really after is Sandman’s identity. Like he wants to know if he’s a human or monster SOOO BAD. He knows that would be world ending knowledge so that’s his ultimate goal. No luck so far though.

3. Soda and Bull were both initially on good terms and had a lot of respect for each other until their first fight. Bull saw how hard Soda was pushing to try and beat him, to the point where he thought Soda was going to die from over exerting himself. But in an effort to make a good impression with the other monsters (since he was still relatively new at the time), still beat Soda’s ass.

Soda had received word from Great Tiger beforehand that Bull was actually a monster. He thought that if he could beat him in this fight then somehow it would ‘make up’ for the fact that bull was a monster, and they could carry on with being friends despite their differences.

But Soda lost, and was pretty crushed by the defeat. Their relationship soured after this, though Bull never really knew why. He was upset about it, but some pep talk from the monsters saying that ‘he’s better off hanging out with them’ had bull turn his back on Soda.

i love ur responses, thanks very much for the in depth reply and i did not know u love dream interpretations so im glad my ask found ur blog! i do still wonder about this feeling of being watched both in my literal experiences (even when i was a kid i felt like i had to be very aware of my surroundings due to how things were back then or even how ppl would treat or act around or towards me) but its weird that its continued into adulthood because i thought id be able to get over that feeling but every now and then it returns and im just too wary of other people nowadays. even down to someones tone or vibe if its off even for less than a minute my brain tells me they aint no good

I can assume you have not always felt safe in your life to have that reaction and you're processing some of it now if these dreams are recent. even if it's processing our day, it can be processing stuff from the past too. If not that you're learning to face something that causes you to be in that state.

Spirit brings up stuff from the past because that is a process of balancing shit out; it's up to us on how we approach it, do we face it head on or try to get around it? There is no test its more like what do you want to work on and how do you want to react to situations you have dealt with before, what would empower you in those times you felt fear of anxiety? there's always a lot you can unpack from dreams, maybe you spirit animal is a lion right now and it's trying to give you its strength, but you turn away because it's scary to be loud and demanding, standing up for yourself against a worse threat like the man. surprisingly i come to your askbox bearing a3-related thoughts instead of gbf. crazy i know. anyways i finished going thru conquering misoshiosa island!! my thoughts abt it are quite scattershot but i had a lot of fun. as i mentioned previously i almost went thru this event before starting autumn loll. was fun going thru the first bit again with autumn knowledge in my pocket now. the more i hear muku talk the more i want to sit and discuss manga recs with him. like in my heart i just KNOW he read basara. i've read a pretty large amount of shoujo so i think we'd get along.

it was pretty obvious muku and omi were gonna be the pair for this cg and like. i'm pleased about it. they're just such a good pair conceptually when u consider, like, definitions of masculinity and how it might apply to both of them.

in any other situation i would gently tell muku that he doesn't need to panic about every eventuality BUT in this case i knew sakyo was planning on leaving them to fend for themselves so i was very glad for muku and omi's preparation. i think its really fun they watched that movie together.

kazu making an itinerary for literally just the trip to the island is sooo funny to me. like he must've known something was a little messed up. do u think sakyo gave him the info and kazunari looked at it, a little miffed that izumi's first instablam post was about spring and winter having a great time without them (and masumi liked the post first) and went. eh. sakyo can have his chaos.

juza bringing chocolate is very juza but him calling the chocolate "rations" is how u know muku and juza are related. love natsugumi teasing tenma abt being sleepless for this trip but like genuinely. its nice that he gets to like. was never worried for muku and izumi in the cave bc i Knew muku was doing a hansel & gretel with the way he was acting and i was glad to see it was buttons and not food so omi found them. i think its really cute that not only did omi rush off while people tried to stop him, a bunch of other people were ALSO trying to rush off and were probably stopped. makes sense it was omi who was able to actually do it tho. hes omi after all. look at how he handled banri and juza from day one. him showing muku the flower was so nice and the cg was SO CUTE like. look at those sparkling eyes!!! i also love queen of the night flowers... and im glad they got to go to a resort on the last day.

now some misc notes:

theres this part where taichi lies down in the sand and kumons like oh thats so nice! and lies down with him and i winced so hard like noooo dont u know... sand is just like glitter (Gets Everywhere)

i also just really like that muku is. for all that he berates himself for being weak and he wants to get like more stronger and prince-like and heroic etc. he very much doesn’t seem to correlate that with how he Looks Physically? (see: how he treats yuki) and like. that means so much to me.

finally i saw tenma being annoyed on the ship and island and stuff and. i just Know he complained during the trip and also to everyone when they got back but a year later he'll do an interview for some character that's very woodsy or like he acts as a castaway or something. and i just know he'll talk about how he was able to play the character well due to his own experience of staying on a deserted island… he'll say something abt how it was enriching and taught him a lot about coexisting with nature and some bs like that etc. and after watching that interview everyone in a3 will lovingly make fun of him for it.

Also Kumon is really big on sports manga and him and Muku talks about this common interest a lot, so if it's not Muku, it's Kumon's fault, but also, i want to say it's Muku because it goes with OUR alliance type. Sakyo would indulge because oh well!

And god right. It made me so emotional that the Summer/Autumn training camp was on the beach like that because i was just thinking about how much Muku and Juza wanted to have Kumon with them there….

and i lOVE what you say about Tenma. He'd complain so much on the spot, but give it a bit and he'll brag about how cool of an experience it was (especially since he was with his buddies) and everyone at Mankai would tease him for it. It fits them so perfectly.

· after you both left wammy's house and saw less and less of each other, what with ryuzaki hiding beneath the name l and you taking on pretty much whatever task came up, you guys still kept in contact- and it wasn't anything awkward like most people would assume of l. because you two are far more intelligent than most, you often found yourselves in environments filled with people nowhere near as smart as you both- which led to some serious understimulation. so the only resort is to talk to one another via text messages, on burner phones obviously. your texts are very chaotic- mostly consists of you and him going back and forth like:

· when you are together, you work very well with one another- for the most part.

· outside of professional situations, you two pester watari a lot just for shits and giggles. he literally just stands there like 😑

· watari sometimes lets you guys come into the kitchen with him where he makes I's treats. he will even let you guys try and make some yourselves- but being socially reclusive sociopathic introverts, that pretty much never goes well. everything in sight is covered in chocolate, cream, icing, caramel, ice cream- you name it, it's all over the walls and your clothes like a couple of toddlers.

· one thing you have in common is ego. you two have absolutely teamed up during investigations just to act all smart and big-brained, throwing around big words and stuff, just to subtly make your colleagues feel inferior to you. power trippers😭

· bad renditions of shakespeare all night

· tennis and sparring matches whenever you guys get free time, you always both beat the crap out of each other and there's almost never a clear winner for either activity

· yes, you do get to act as "L" at times- but at other times, l has to wrestle you from his computer because you keep wanting to impersonate him solely for the feeling of authority💀

· you watch over his shoulder while I plays that "u are offline" game with the dinosaur

so yes i think Beautiful Sunday is just the most amazing thing ever i spent monthsss looking for it and trying to find a decent download and goddd im forever happy i did. its the perfect movie about nothing in particular, it just captures that specific air of laziness that comes on Sundays where you're just content doing nothing. it means so much to me

i put Rebels of the Neon God up here over Vive L'Amour which i prefer , mostly because it was my introduction to Tsai Ming Liang. i found the movie slow at first but then Vive L'Amour cemented Tsai as one of my favorites. Besides, this movie is the start pf Hsiao Kang's entire legacy so really, you can't have Vive L'Amour without this. his films are slow of purpose and the rhythm of everything is initially hard to adjust to, but when you give it time, you'll find the most thoughtful and beautifully shot meditations on loneliness in modern living. in Tsai's movies, Taiwan looms over the characters. its a cage of skyscrapers you cant free yourself from with drugs or alcohol. the city eats everyone whole.

Parasite is just ahhh its why i love movies so much it really is. it made me a cinephile. it made me want to make movies and ive seen it the most out of any of these. i even saw it with my english teacher at the cinema. this movie is a defining part of my life it really is

A Brighter Summer's Day is just splendid. the purpose of art is never to be relatable but i couldn't help draw parallels to every part of my life. the constraints of Taiwan's development reminded me of my own state's troubled history. classrooms of boys hiding behind their shallow ideas of masculinity. Xiao Sir's lonely childhood spent lazing away in brief lapses of summer. i cant help but feel it so closely, youth taken away by a struggle for identity and stability both in the nation of Taiwan and in Xiao Sir's own life

and to Chungking Express i send all my love, my introduction into the dreamy haze of Wong Kar Wai. it remains my favorite in his filmography. fun thing was i got to watch it with Chick too. chick if ur reading this hiiii

Buddha Mountain is frenetic it is relentless, shifting from tragedy to joyous energy in a single cut. and Fan Bing Bing is gorgeous in it so that helps...like i can't go into detail here but i haven't known peace after that bloody kiss scene like i get lightheaded thinking about it . okay wait ill behave.

Mary is Happy, Mary Is Happy is a delight all the way through even in its rather sad final act. the listless joy of friendship , it offered me a a delightful glimpse into it

Taehyung isn't exempt. It was honestly the biggest highlight when he went on his fuckboy spree. Just the feeling of being wanted so badly that girls would send you nudes to grab your attention. Biggest ego booster.

Before anyone gets on his ass, he loves his woman and he quickly taps out of the snapchat so he doesn't see it for long. It's been Aiko's 5th nude so far, and he's already knowing what to expect when the notification hits his screen. He knows this shit.

You were there the first time she sent him a nude over snapchat. You both looked at it, confused that it had been sent to the wrong person since she hadn't sent him anything in between that movie selfie and this. It became a running joke for awhile, but it eventually died the less you saw or heard of it. You just actually didn't know she was still sending him nudes.

So, when you see her snapchat notification pop up on his screen again, you're a little taken aback.

"Aiko's still sending you snaps?" You ask as you hug Taehyung tightly while you both are cuddling on Jimin's couch, watching another yet unsatisfying episode of Unsolved Mysteries. You all had just finished watching The Hate U Give, Jimin throwing the channel on something random afterwards. He sat on the other portion of his couch, hugging a pillow tightly against his chest as he cussed to himself and mumbled questions about how people could stand this show if barely any of the episodes were actually solved.

You get the frustration, right? You just wanna know if they ever caught the killer, or if they found new clues, but most of the episodes end so abruptly with that 'if you happen to have any info regarding this case' message with the number to call.

"Yeah, it's whatever though." Taehyung says, keeping his eyes on the tv while you fiddled with his phone.

"Woah!" You say as you pressed on her snap, revealing her nude and on her bed, fingers trailing down to her lady friend. You tilted your head as you watched her begin to rub her clit ever so softly. He loves babying you and being the best he can be. But there were days where your attitude did get to the best of him, especially when he was trying. Taehyung hadn't given you a reason to make you doubt him since you two became exclusive, so he didn't think it was necessary for you to act the way you were acting.

"Really, Y/N? This isn't necessary."

"Why are you still even entertaining her snaps? Shouldn't you have gotten rid of her contact info already?" He grabs his phone and blocks her on snapchat, showing it to you before shoving it into the small storage space under the car's radio.

"There, happy?"

"Why are you so mad about it? I'm sorry you want to see her body so fucking badly."

"I'm mad because you're being a brat when you don't need to be." He looks at you intimidatingly with his piercing eyes. "You're putting words in my mouth. I never said I wanted to. Plus, I've told you time and time again that it was nothing and that it didn't mean anything to me." You roll your eyes, getting out of the passenger's seat to make your way up to your apartment.

Alright so, here's the deal. You feel like Taehyung is missing the point. Aiko looked so good in that ones nap. So good that you suddenly questioned your own look and felt completely insecure. You disliked hearing him say it wasn't a big deal, because it was. To you, at least.

Taehyung sighed heavily before going after you. He does a light jog, barely catching the elevator you had hopped into.

"Y/N, don't do that." You glared at him.

"It's not a big deal, right?" He sighs again before running his hand through his curly hair. The elevator doors open, but he wraps his arms around your waist, pulling you back in and preventing you from walking out. "Tae, let me go."

"Nah." He shrugs. "Not until we fix this." The elevator stays at their floor.

"You said it wasn't a big deal." You crossed your arms.

"Okay, I'm sorry." A good thing about Taehyung is that he's learned to be better about admitting his mistakes and saying sorry when he's in the wrong. "I shouldn't have said it in a way that would make you feel like I'm discrediting your feelings." You continue to look at him silently, the elevator suddenly going back down to the lobby. "And I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner or get rid of her shit earlier. But baby, her snapchats don't mean a thing to me. I don't care how 'good' she looks or if they're nudes." He uses finger quotes. "It's still not you."

"I just--" You sighed, watching a lady come into the elevator to join you two to go up to the 8th floor. "I feel like I can't look that good. He shook his head and shrugged.

"Cheesy." It causes you to chuckle a bit and press your hand against his chest as he presses the button to your floor.

"I honestly hate you sometimes." He shrugs before picking you up by the legs and carrying you, causing you to squeal.

"So then hate me."

"Say it to my face in bed, baby." He playfully smacks your ass in the hallway, allowing it to echo as he carries you to your apartment. It was hard to stay mad at Taehyung, but you were grateful you had someone like him who could bring you back down to Earth. You had your fair share of bickering and unnecessary arguments [because you liked picking fights with your attitude], but he was still able to show you that he would ride or die for you, no matter how silly things got.

That was your man, and your man only. Sorry Aiko.

What We Do in the Shadows: A Rewatch Part 1

I am an excellent TV nerd. Cuz I have no life. So since tumblr has been giving me joy on What We Do in the Shadows (1 ep left this season) I thought I’d share some things I caught on a quick rewatch cuz I’m coping well. If its not obvious spoilers spoilers spoilers. For the purposes of whats went down this season I think the first ep to foreshadow any of it was 1X04 Manhattan Nights, where they go to Simon the dicks club in hopes of an alliance. Colin Robinson mentions hes a little gassy, so he’ll stick with Nandor. You’re like ‘oh ew poor Nandor’. Now Im thinking his end of life cycle began. When Simon spots Nadja he gloms on to her and muses quote:

“You know i worry about you cuz I hear all these stories about these vampires who you know slowly spiral out and then they get stuck in this real complacency and eventually they just fade away.” That again seemed like an easy reference to just then (they’d all been farting around doing nothing for 200 years easily) but now it seems to reference the crisis Nandor finds himself in. Could also reference Colin Robinson.

I was really blown away by Matt Berry this season. Like a lot of people I just thought ‘oh he must be having a rough time or something he just seems like a shadow of himself here’...can almost picture him going ‘and thats acting!’ I did a end of 2 start of 3 rewatch after the first few eps and I didnt catch it then but watching it now you can see Laszlo is just pure Laszlo up to the start of ep 2. He cant be fucked, he doesnt care at all, hes literally jacking off once they set up in the library. From there you get distracted cuz Kayvan Novak fucking brings it (HE DID THOSE VOICES TOO!!!) but rewatching it now it makes more sense if you pay special attention to the Laszlo parts.

After ripping the page out, Nandor finds him napping and asks him to pull Meg for him. Laszlo drops it on Colin Robinson, cuz (complete with gesture) he cant be fucked. When we next see him he seems to be fake reading erotica. He leaves, fails, returns. When we next see him, Colin is gone and Guillermo has literally keystoned in. We cant see what hes reading, but he seems to be genuinely studying it and kinda absorbed in it, as he has to kinda rethink Guillermo being there and says hey do Nandor a fav if u take that. Many fans correctly noted all we seen in the last ep he just rips the page real quick and it was at least two pages, we dont know if he ever read it again or looked closer to see if there was some more info on energy vampires. BUUUT rewatching that ep I think once he had found that page, he covered for himself with Colin coming back (he could’ve been reading the page hidden in the erotica book)...I mean he was jacking off next to him an hour ago I dont think he’d just be quietly reading if left to himself. Once Colin is gone and he’s back from failing at Meg he had some amount of time to read without anyone and again wasnt jacking it...just reading. I think since he knew that one book mentioned energy vampires off hand he prbly had a good idea what other books had mention of them...my theory is he was genuinely researching any solution for energy vampires after learning the 100 year death. Laszlo isn’t as naive as Nandor, and he clearly had a solid head for vampire literature. So I think there isn’t actually a secret solution he was just too busy to find. He really looked, and found nothing, and thats why he set out to not only spend time with Colin but keep him from finding any real info on energy vampires. In this ep Colin also muses to Dave(?) the young energy vampire that he doesn’t know where he came from, does this guy have any idea on their origin? CBD boy has no idea either. While there might be benefit to lying while Laszlo is around, he wasn’t in this case. So I think Colin genuinely doesn’t know a way out or that this death was coming. BUT I am a firm believer that we have seen on this show death for humans and vampires isn’t what it seems (who seen Barren come back?!) If they want to bring him back they have plenty of outs between ghosts who can go into anything (like ghost Nadja/Dolly) or his dead dupes in the backyard. Im almost afraid they may string us into next season without a resolution. They could! Then we’d be really thrilled when resolved. But I kinda think they wont...when he ‘died’ as the C man and co they did hold a funeral for him and bury him with his painting (thus face crushing). Nandor referenced him doing this ‘like 5 times before’ but while fans have taken that to be literal, they didn’t seem to think he ( plus two) was faking. They were annoyed when he woke up, didnt accuse him of doing it before or anything. I think Nandor was just being a dick cuz he was angry about being woken up, and he seemed to genuinely think this was a trick too, which to his credit he’d been woken up twice at that point. So I think he was just counting the two dead clones and one faked death, making 3 with this in his mind being 4. Back when they took the Barren out (1X6) the Barren asks if they know what hes always wanted to try, Laszlo says corprophilia lol. But by the time we get to 3X1 Colin has...a creepy obsession with Guillermo’s poop bucket. In 3X7 the Siren poops on his shoe and apologizes, he says its not the first time its happened to him. This stuck squeeks me out, buuut I almost wonder if there is a vampire legend tied to sewage/human waste that might be tied to the energy vampire. I tried googling it and theres a few obscure ones that were said to live in sewers (incl a Richmond vampire) almost all are ‘daywalkers’ but the majority are women. So considering they buried all that writing in fart jokes, I wouldn’t put it past them to have dug up something obscure to tie to his legend. Back to lighter topics...I noticed right before Laszlo finds the energy vampire page he flies down to Colin Robinson passing this sign in the library. I think its sumerian but haven’t had success in translating it. I wonder if theres a sign in there.

I can confirm, they introduced themselves as 3 readers and they made a post how Bee is leaving and starting their own channel. They even made a post to support it and linked the blog, that's how I knew of the Bee drama. But yknow whatever. But they shouldn't demonize those poor future apouses lmao, it's not gonna be them, or any of us.

But the drama on tumblr is kinda mild conpared to Youtube "readers". At least the readers here on tumblr try to hide the fact, that they're describing themselves very well but yoooooooo.... Youtube readers are a different breed. Most of them are super young (12-13, but there are a handful of readers old enough to fucking know better) and just straight up describe themselves with no shame. I even found some who put pics of themselves lmao. Me and my friends like to go through readings and bet, who is describing themselves as a spouse. There is one reader who has over 30+ vids on Mrs. J, and most readings are like over 20 mins long. How much is there to know about a person, that doesn't exist yet??? But most YT readers are obssessed with the fact, that Mrs. J is from India, what a coincidence that the reader is also from India lmao. I'm not saying BTS wouldn't ever date someone from that country, I'm saying it's impossible to get a specific country, age, height, religion etc from tarot cards. The pics on the cards might give you clues and the cards can say that the person is different from you, but they go into way too much detail. And it's funny because they're always soooo specific for Jungkook and V, but for the other ones....crickets🦗 On one hand it's so sad bc you have these little girls, putting out their private info, looks and secrets for the whole world to see (these vids have thousands of views) and they don't really grasp the consequences of their actions bc yknow, their just children. The internet never forgets. But on the other hand, you have these grown women who, like I said, should know better than these little girls. Not only do they get so defensive if you don't 100% allign with what they said, they are borderline so obsessed of the idea of being a spouse. Like tf??? Bts aren't Gods. They're very attractive celebs, who's purpose is to entertain people with their contents and music (hence the word idol & entertainer), while they do feed into that perfect bf material scheme, it's up to the fan to not actually develop real romantic feelings (a celeb crush and being a stan is something very different). Most are actually fans for very superficial reasons, they just find them attractive, not the music. And if you take the glitz and glamour of fame and money away, Bts are regular human beings, with flaws and issues. Like. The. Rest. Of. Us. They only show you the best side of them, because it's part of the whole idol package. We truly do not know these people, no matter how sincere or authentic they appear on camera. Like so so many were suprised that they wanted to disband a few years ago, bc they couldn't handle the pressure. These readers always believe if they meet/marry them, their life is going to be better and they feel alive again or smth. Most of these readers actually need therapy, I don't mean that in a condescending way. They imagine that their spouse, a celeb they've never met, will be their sole reason for their happiness and only then they are able to fix their issues and unhappiness. That reeks of co-dependency. And even if they'd become couple and be public, then what? A really big big chunk of Armys are actually in love with Bts, no matter if they even know tarot or not (Armys usually claim that only 2% of the fandom are delulus but that's definetly not true🥴). You'd get send d*eath threats, be harrassed, get doxxed, be hated for all eternity, even if you'd decided to break up. Look what happend with Jk and the tattoo artist he only hugged. She lost her job bc Armys were reporting her, some were trashing her workplace, she got threats, her friends got harassed and doxxed and she lost a friend (Jk). Not only that, but people would legit stalk you and try to hurt you, if you were a romatic partner of Bts. Then you also have the tarot side, who'd try to curse youa nd paint you as the evil demon, who is toxic to member xyz. And I don't think you'd want to spend your entire life locked in your house. And I personally could never deal with like millions of haters, no matter how hot my partner is.

and yess, theres also grown up women and thats really creepy, u can understand that children might do that cause they are young, BUT WHEN U ARE OLD ENOUGH, U SHOULD ACT BETTER!! and i insist, they just trying to prove to themselves and to the world that they are worth it to be with a celebrity, like yeah of course u are worthy, like any of us, but this is not the way u know? its weird, i dont think its sane at all, they just are using the cards to feel better, and thats bs. and if it is just a cope mecanism, plz work on yourself, get help, life its better when u are in a healthy place

also its interesting about mrs being from india and most of all the videos i watch where from indian armys, tarot doesnt work like that, yeah u can feel the energy that its different, perhaps different culture and think that maybe it could be a foreing, but the cards will never tell you something that specific, less if u dont even know in person the people you are reading for

we dont know them at all, and people put them in a such high pedestal just for being famous and hot, so i really have trouble to think that some tarot readers can pick their real energy, im a very intuitive person, but i need to be in the presence of the person to feel their real energy, so to be so specific in a reading they need to energise the cards with the energy of the person, they need to at least shuffle the cards and connect with the reader, sooo thats why i only see these reads as enterteiment, and its bad for the community to claim that we can see ALL of about them.

i'll never forgive the people who threaten the tattoo artist, poor girl, and thats why the guys cant have healthiest relationship, let them have a LIFE

this is gonna be incoherent bc im about to sleep but here's a bulleted list of shit that's been running rampant in my head:

something about fundy being the only one to sign the las nevadas contract will always make me suspicious of how quackity views fundy. because if fundy's main asset is loyalty, he wouldn't have to worry about fundy being bound by las nevadas rules… unless he suspects that there's a risk of fundy betraying las nevadas which is honestly?? a good possibility

as much as we know wilbur and fundy, there's also like… so much we don't know. we've seen the negatives of their relationship a lot, but i feel like there's a bigger picture we're missing here. more backstory, more pre-l'manbergian revolutionary war stuff that can give more depth to their relationship, you know?

not fundy-centric but fundy-adjacent: GURL WHAT THE FUCK IS THE LAS NEVADAS TIMELINE? like, tommy dies, sam feels guilty, but when do the las nevadas members join? when are all the slime-related lore scenes set? when do the horsemen appear in this timeline? if the horsemen existed pre-las nevadas episode 3, THEN WHO ARE THESE ALLIES OF QUACKITY? *shakes quackity* GIVE ME ANSWERS DUCK MAN

(or maybe i'll rewatch the episodes and try piecing this together myself)

thinking about the “fundy lost a second canon life during doomsday preparations” theory because it makes SENSE. fundy's breakdown felt little sudden, right? well, if he went to the guardian farm and supposedly commit suicide, maybe he did it in a way to test how many people actually would search for him. and when there was none… that's when he gets mad. IT JUST MAKES SENSE AND GIVES MORE DEPTH TO FUNDY'S MOTIVATION OF “doing everything because he has nothing left to lose” YOU KNOW

fundy depends his self-worth on how much he doesn't fuck up a country (he's mentioned how he feels like l'manberg's downfall was his fault), so if… if las nevadas was potentially blown up by wilbur and ranboo, fundy could just. possibly end up worse because he would blame himself

if fundy's memory is genuinely bad, quackity invoking what memories fundy should remember might like. you know, be kind of dangerous because fundy could possibly be a blank slate rn, and all quackity is doing is molding fundy into the guy he wants him to be

BUT ALSO— quackity giving fundy all the time he needs to “find himself” will always be so interesting to me! balances out quackity prioritizing his personal goals AND his genuine care for others. like yes, quackity will take any opportunity he can with fundy—which is why he pushes—but there's something about how quackity still gives him so, so much time to decide on his decision that makes me just. be intrigued by quackity. and las nevadas in general!

haha anyway are we gonna talk about the endstone in fundy's first dream or what

i've also been thinking about schlatt? and the possibility that quackity is making deals with schlatt to do more supernatural deeds? like i feel like fundy's dreams HAVE to be caused by something. somewhat lowkey considering that quackity himself made it into fundy's dreams via schlatt's help, who knows! it'd make sense because if a future fundy was able to contact past fundy, he'd need the ability to, and it feels like this ability is moreso granted to people than just… spontaneous

when fundy and wilbur meet up, i expect it to go like this: wilbur will be genuinely proud of fundy achievement-wise. fundy joined las nevadas, a place that wilbur admires for its competitiveness and how its founded on philosophies he can relate to. fundy, on the other hand, will accept the compliments at first before realizing that wilbur is only appreciating him for what he's done, rather than appreciate him in general. i do think fundy would act more impulsively on this and lash out rather than communicate his actual needs, so then wilbur would part ways with him. i feel like this scenario wouldn't paint a clear victor which would then make both wilbur and fundy fans equally satisfied with it.

fundy deserves more streams paralleling the ocean, ocean wildlife, or any of the like. ik cc!fundy is afraid of the ocean but fundy's character feels so integated with fish symbolisms that i just. need it

so haha tubbo and fundy are both las nevadas workers, and they're both dreamon hunters. not saying dreamon hunters are gonna return, but it adds on to the idea that las nevadas is connected to the supernatural

if fundy died in the guardian farm during doomsday preparations, there's… a small chance that he got killed by slime/surrounded by slime, so do you think… charlie knows what actually happened that day?

speaking of charlie knowing, i do think charlie has the ability to spy on fundy now, which is a juicy bit of lore because it implies that there is a *need* for them to spy on fundy. for there to be a need to spy on fundy, fundy might have to either betray las nevadas, or maybe have a moment where he opens up about his dreams to someone. charlie would then relay this info to quackity

fundy's relationship with schlatt on the wiki is labelled “negative” when i wholeheartedly disagree and think that fundy still genuinely admires schlatt and views him more positively than he does with wilbur sooo

wow thanks! that was a really in depth post about it you make good points! when I played I definitely got the sense that monika had encouraged sayori to kill herself and I didn’t get the sense of any remorse when natsuki or yuri died or got fucked up but I guess u do make some good points there about how she was just trying to make them less desirable rather than kill them. I’m new to the game and the fandom so im not super familiar with everything yet but is there anything in the canon or lore that points away from monika having pushed sayori to commit suicide or is it mostly just fan theories and personal readings? either way thank u so much for answering!

there's quite a bit of information hidden within the games files, so I'm kind of assuming if you're new to the game, that you might not have seen these things? so ill dive into them too!

not, all i want for them is to die. she doesnt want to kill them. she wants to separate us from them so we are with Her, not them. things spiral out of control, but it was never her intention for things to get this bad. ntm its repeated over and over in this game how badly monika wants to die. she's hanging on by a thread, keeping on only because she wants to be with us, to be in contact with reality. this leads to really unfortunate circumstances but i really strongly believe everything in the text alludes to the fact she did Not want things to get this bad

ACT 3 INTRO:

imo this is all the proof needed to show that she really had no intention of ‘killing’ sayori and yuri. things spiraled out of control far beyond what she was capable of handling. 

her goals with making sayori more depressed and yuri more obsessive were, in here words “to just try to make them as unlikable as possible”. she didnt want her friends to brutally die!! she loved them q_q i feel like a lot of people really dont look at this specific part of what she says and take it to heart. its very telling for her character and important for understanding what she does and why she does it

ok so whats important here, is monika is essentially using us, the player, as a mirror in act 3? the things she says i believe, very strongly show her sense of uncertainty in her actions, and her fears of what if she could have done something else??

"even though you could have saved her, its technically not your fault she killed herself" reads SO much to me like shes trying to comfort herself with this, she doesnt want it to be her fault. nothings real, sayori's a character in a game. but she wishes so badly they could have just been normal girls living together.

OK SO LIKE. this is actual proof of Why she does everything she does. she's scared if she reaches out and tells us she's trapped in a game, we'll stop playing, we'll kill her. she tinkers with the game, trying to make herself look the best, trying to make us choose her, and nothing works. and this leads to her becoming frustrated and scared, and screwing with the game more and more desperately trying to do anything to save herself.

if you recall, in act 2, she gives you a poem which bluescreen the computer. this was actually an attempt she makes to escape the game q_q she never wanted to kill yuri, she never wanted things to escalate like that. she wanted to get out but she had no idea how to program her way out of the game, resulting in everything crumbling around her, and her friends dying.

my own route

hang on this one genuinely makes me so upset.

it very much relates back to how in the conversation about sayori's suicide, she's still clearly thinking about how things could be Different. shes thinking about how they could be normal. "I may not have needed to take such drastic measures to be with you. Maybe the rest of the club would still be around..." , and then immediately trying to convince herself it doesnt matter, and that she doesnt care.

its so so obvious shes hurting and she misses her friends. the additional "i really dont (miss them)" at the end really shows that shes desperately trying to convince herself that it was worth it, that she did everything she should have, and her friends dont matter. but they clearly do matter to her. she loved them (she couldnt even delete them if u recall)

also another important part about this monologue, a lot of people say she killed the other girls out of jealousy, but this shows thats not true??

"I think I would end up forcing you onto my route anyway." "It has less to do with me not having a route, and more to do with me knowing that nothing is real."

this wasnt because shes 'in love' with us. she wanted to be close to something real, something tangible. she's clinging onto us, the player character, like someone lost at sea with a piece of driftwood, doing everything she can to stay afloat

ok this isnt on the surface level as important as the other ones, but literally look at how she talks about this memory.. she misses them so much and talking about this memory she clearly cherishes brings her so much joy. she doesnt belittle any of them, she doesnt talk down on them, she’s just reliving this memory because it makes her happy

took a While for Camila to find out. hell, she learned Eda existed LONG before she realized the masked kid some people talk about is HER kid. I imagine she’d find out like,,,after shes put in The Box for general mind-control maintenance and the gang was showing up at the same time to burn an entire clutch of boxes to the GROUND. arson times. course they checked the boxes to make sure nobody was in there but in the middle of checking there was an issue and shit started blowing up prematurely. Camila’s box got knocked over so it Broke w her for a moment. she came to consciousness to see everything exploding and on fire with some kids grabbing unconscious/mind-controlled people and throwing them out of the way. Camila takes 1 look at the kid with the red canine mask grabbing at her n knows On The Spot that, without a doubt, thats Luz. she’d seen the masked kid from afar before when they were causing shit but never up close. you can imagine the shitshow that followed when Camila was demanding answers and Luz looked ready to bolt to the nearest countryside barn for the next week and succeed.

Amity and the twins are the only ones who know of and have seen life outside of the Boiling Isles. so, ofc, one day when Luz and Amity are on Okay terms and Not trying to fight each other, Luz asks what the world outside the Boiling Isles is like. shes Very excited bc shes heard from her mami and adults who weren’t born in the town that, while its certainly not perfect, its better than this place and actually kind of fun and, you know, not as overrun with mutants and kind of...normal. as normal as it could be, at least. n Amity just. stares at her for a moment. bc its then it starts to sink in that Luz, and everyone else in Bonesborough, really are trapped. Luz has no idea what a center park looks like, what skyscrapers are, hell, she probably hasn’t seen a fully-leaved tree in years. n Amity knew what all of that was bc she got to grow up with it. maybe not always experiencing it but she at least got to See it. n many other people in Bonesborough had no idea what any of those things looked like, either. she spent many hours explaining all she could to Luz, who listened with such interest you’d think Amity was telling her where Belos resided.

Eda will, on occasion, go ‘missing’ for a few days. typically its when she wants to hide away for whatever reason, or is following a trail to something that might be important, or simply just went Off The Grid for a while. everyone got used to it after a while, and the rule of thumb is that if theres absolutely ZERO sign of Eda by the dawn of day four, then they should probably start looking for her. chances are she got captured or stuck somewhere. Willow found out that sometimes when Eda goes missing, she’ll appear closer to the sketchier parts of Bonesborough and generally just act,,,,fairly normal. Luz asked her about it once and Eda gave the simple answer of “living without people feels wrong after a while” and left it at that.

the kids have gotten v good at holding their breath, considering the amount of times they’ve had to dive into the nearest body of water and hide under the surface. Amity did not know this. so when Willow jokingly shoved him off a small stone bridge into a pond and he didn’t pop up after a moment she started Panicking. Luz was quick to assure “nah its cool he can just hold his breath for a while” and proceeded to show off. anyway im gay for underwater kisses so u get to imagine that.

Viney helped Emira that ONE time (on accident, mind you) and now Emira is emotionally attached. you showed her basic human kindness, now shes staying forever. any time the twins are out and about and Emira ‘happens’ to spot Viney she NYOOMS over w the best Casual Flirt face she can muster like “hey Vines, hows it goin?” n Edric at first gave her an apologetic look but then he thought Viney was cool too n also started bothering Jerbo so now Barcus pitifully watches from a distance. it was one of these “lets annoy the pretty mildly-nice kids” sessions that Amity found out her siblings are A) disasters and B) aware of the Double-Track kids existence

also this is kinda rambly but whatever

when it comes to shuraras motivations here, maybe he could have been another childhood friend of keroros. idk how they could have been introduced, maybe through pururu or just by meeting in school, but ig that part doesnt rlly matter. what DOES matter though is that shurara decided to tag along with keroro, giroro, zeroro, and pururu on one of their misadventures and he gets hurt during it. BADLY. pururu patches him up, and zeroro apologizes like crazy (since he knows how much this sucks), but shurara is left with a strong dislike of keroro and friends. except for pururu, who he still likes (but im not keeping the crush bc it serves no purpose here) and zeroro who he kinda forgives a little bit but just because he apologized so much. maybe this could have resulted in some major physical injury that affected how he lived for a while, or maybe it spawned a phobia, but either way it left an impact.

putata and mekeke are sent in first with the goal of beating up the platoon a little bit and taking the star because they are the most skilled team. shurara doesnt want the star because of some stupid bandaid, but he wants to take it in order to both deeply hurt keroros pride and also to potentially have his platoon no longer be officially recognized, taking away something that means a lot to keroro. they actually succeed in taking the keron star kinda. when they get back to base, they realize that the star is fake, its just a piece of fabric or paper with tape on it (like what happened in the original arcs ending). this way the shurara corps will be established as an actual threat and also the ending will have actual stakes.

gyororo sends word back to base that the keron star putata and mekeke got was fake, so giruru is sent in to ACTUALLY get the real star, as well as punish the platoon for embarrassing the corps like that. this one plays out kinda like the actual episode (bc im too lazy to think of anything else), but all that matters is that he still ends up captured.

after this, the platoon is like ok this might actually be serious so they go on high alert. one day dororo notices gyororo (who was sent in a little before putata and mekeke to scout the place out and gather info) bc hes the only competent member of the platoon and confronts him, outing his presence to everyone. gyororo fights back but he is also captured in the end.

after the platoon has captured giruru and gyororo , shurara plans to capture and torture a member of the platoon as revenge. before he can do this though, dokuku and nuii decide to rescue giruru and gyororo in secret. nuii serves as a distraction to everyone while dokuku goes to rescue the fellaz. theres some minor conflict but in the end the four of them escape. after that happens, shurara is furious about his subordinates disobeying him and doing things behind his back, but he keeps his goal the same.

im gonna change yukikis powers bc they kinda suck and hes confusing. anyways yukiki isnt actually a snowman, but hes the hat! kinda like in mario odyssey, you put the hat on anyone or anything, and it will immediately be controlled by yukiki. he was an experiment done to try to make a sentient object, and he got his name because he was first tested on a snowman (which also makes it the form hes most comfortable taking). anyways, shurara sends in yukiki to capture someone by taking control of them, but hes defeated somehow and returns empty-handed.

im also gonna change robobos powers a bit. with robobo i dont think that he should have the ability to turn people into electronics because thats dumb and doesnt make any sense, so im gonna give him the ability to just control other machines. he also doesnt have a giant form, and can switch his hands between their magnet form and their drill form. anyways, at this point shurara is furious and decides that he doesnt care about capture anymore, he wants the platoon dead. he decides to send robobo for the job because robots dont have the same margin of error that living things do, or at least theyre supposed to. turns out, they totally do bc robobo also comes back with a failure.

after this, shurara somehow lures the platoon to his base (just like in the anime) but this time everyone is waiting for them there in a big empty room together. shuraras disembodied voice gets a monologue like in the anime and the roof opens, lighting the room up because its a bright spring day. kagege then appears and takes control of the platoons shadows like in the anime! all of the shadows are used to fight the platoon, as well as the corps themselves fighting. its an epic fight, but just when it seems like the platoon is all gonna die, the corps suddenly decide to stop fighting. they all tell the platoon about how shurara has been acting worryingly erratic and obsessive, so they agree to spare the platoons life as long as they confront shurara. the platoon obviously agrees, and theyre taken to a holding area so that shurara thinks that theyve won. they give them this offer because theyre not personally invested in killing these nerds, they dont really care. they ARE worried about shurara though, seeing how obsessed with this hes become.

anyways kagege reports to shurara (in my headcanon hes like shuraras right hand man or something like that) and is like "we beat the platoon, but we didnt kill them. theyre our prisoners right now and were gonna torture them before we let you do the honors" and then shuraras like "poggers!!! thats a great idea!!" and then proceeds to drink his choccy milk and play minedcraft. meanwhile, some of the others are actually patching the platoon up and telling them what to do with shurara. they tell the platoon to try to hurt him as little as possible, and DEFINITELY dont fucking kill him, but just try to knock some sense into him and restrain him or something.

the platoon asks why shurara hates them so much and whoevers patching them up doesnt know, but kagege comes down soon after and tells them shuraras motivations. after this, some understanding can be felt by giroro and dororo (bc they were there, even tho dororo is the only one who remembers shirara like at all) and keroro feels kinda guilty but not too much bc head empty. later, the corps has a big celebration feast and shurara declares that hell painfully kill the platoon bright and early tomorrow. in all the commotion, nuii convinces gyororo to sneak down into the platoons holding cells to bring them some leftover food.

the next day, the platoon is brought to the same room that they fought the corps in, and theyre tied up. shurara is talkin abt how hes gonna kill them all super painfully and stuff but little does he know that the ropes holding the platoon are actually not secure at all (on purpose), so the platoon all escapes their bindings and a fight with shurara ensues. when the platoon is in a tight spot, one of the corps will show up real quick and help them out, kinda like a support in a fighting game. eventually, shurara is tied up and defeated technically.

shurara is whining and stuff and calling the corps a bunch of traitors, but the corps talk to him about how worried they all are about him and that this whole thing has gone too far (you rlly think these goobers are worth all this effort??). shurara says something about how keroro hurt him before, so he wants to hurt him and his platoon back. the corps are like ya i get that but killing them is wayy overkill no pun intended. keroro apologizes and maybe dororo can say something about how keroro also hurt him in the past but hes been able to move past that or whatever and shurara is like bro ur right and he starts crying like da babey he is lmao and there u have it!!! the arcs over and everyone is ok and happy!!! found family trope pog!!!!!!
